AFCON 2025: CAF Reveals Full Match Schedule

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the complete match schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The tournament will be held across six cities and nine venues, with Morocco serving as the host nation.
The competition will kick off on Sunday, December 21, with Morocco facing Comoros at the newly constructed 69,500-seat Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat.
Rabat, the capital city, will host four matches during the tournament, while other host cities include Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fes, and Tangier, each of which will stage one match.
The quarter-finals will be played at Rabat’s Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah, as well as in Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir.
The semi-finals are set to take place in Rabat and Tangier, with the third-place play-off scheduled for the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca.
In total, 52 matches will be contested during the biennial tournament.
