Ashleigh Plumptre Extends Contract With Al Ittihad Ladies

Nigerian Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has extended her contract with Al Ittihad Ladies in the Saudi Women's Pro League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Falcons defender, who extended her stay at Al-Ittihad Club until 2027, has two goals, an assist and five clean sheets so far this season.

The 26-year-old joined the Tigers on a free transfer in 2023 after severing ties with Leicester City.

Recently, she was named an ambassador of "Mission 89", an NGO which fights the exploitation of athletes and combats player trafficking.
