Kennedy Boboye, the newly appointed head coach of Akwa United, is determined to lead the team on a successful run of victories, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club, known as the Promise Keepers, has faced difficulties since the beginning of the season and currently sits at the bottom of the NPFL standings.

Boboye is focusing on securing a spot in the final of the State Federation Cup, emphasizing that every match is crucial for their success.

"At this stage, winning every match is vital for us, no matter who we face," Boboye told Akwa United's media team.

 "Knockout competitions often bring surprises, so we won’t take any chances with our lineup. We’re treating this match with the utmost seriousness, knowing that a win will lift our spirits and rebuild our confidence."

"The FA Cup is a knockout format, and we can't afford to underestimate any opponent. Our primary goal is to win our matches and secure qualification to represent the state in the President's Federation Cup."
