Dele-Bashiru Credits Coach For Improved Performance

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, has praised Lazio’s coach, Marco Baroni, for his role in his recent improvement on the field, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Lazio delivered a dominant 5-1 victory over Monza on Sunday, with Dele-Bashiru scoring one of the goals.

The midfielder dedicated his goal to his teammates and expressed his appreciation for the support he’s received.

“It’s something I enjoyed. The coach and the team have helped me a lot, and I’ve improved both physically and tactically,” he said.

 “It’s been a perfect week for me, and while I’m happy with my performance, the team’s victory is even more important.”

“There’s a great group here, and it’s the ideal environment. The coach believes in everyone,” Dele-Bashiru added.

Dele-Bashiru made the move to Lazio from Turkish club Hatayaspor on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
