Flamingos Touchdown South Africa Ahead 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria’s U17 girls, Flamingos, have arrived in Pretoria, South Africa for their 2025 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup second round, first leg qualifier against their South African counterparts, Bantwana, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The game will kick off at 3pm South Africa time (2pm Nigeria) on Saturday, 8th March at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa’s administrative capital.
On arrival at the OR Tambo International Airport in the early hours of Thursday, they met with four-time African Player of the Year, top scorer of the Africa Cup of Nations to date and President of Cameroon Football Federation, Samuel Eto’o Fils.
According to the NFF, Eto’o shook hands with the young ladies and left them with words of encouragement, after a group photograph.
While 2022 FIFA World Cup bronze medallists Nigeria drew bye to the second round, Bantwana crushed their counterparts from Gabon 21-2 on aggregate.
