After being sidelined for over eight months, Terem Moffi, the Nigerian forward for OGC Nice and the Super Eagles, has returned to training, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Moffi, who was part of the Super Eagles squad at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, suffered the injury during preseason.

The 25-year-old has been unavailable since the start of the 2024/2025 French Ligue 1 season.

The Nigerian international rejoined team training on Wednesday and was seen participating with the squad.

Club medical staff will continue to monitor the left-footed striker’s recovery to determine when he will be ready for competitive action.

Moffi’s return is a significant boost for the Super Eagles as they prepare for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
