After being sidelined from several international competitions due to a FIFA ban, the Russian Football Association has scheduled a high-profile friendly for their national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The latest update from the football body reveals that Russia will take on Nigeria's Super Eagles in June. Prior to this, Russia will face Zambia in March.

Russia will then play Belarus just four days after their encounter with Nigeria.

While the venue for the match has not yet been confirmed, it is expected to take place in Moscow, the capital of Russia.
