Kallon Appointed As Sierra Leone's New Head Coach

The Sierra Leone Football Association has named football legend Mohammed Kallon as the new head coach of the national team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kallon is widely regarded as the greatest and most accomplished player in Sierra Leone's football history.

During his playing career, Kallon represented several top clubs, including Bologna, Genoa, Cagliari, Monaco, Al Ittihad, and Inter Milan.

He earned 39 caps for Sierra Leone and scored more than 115 goals throughout his career.

As the new coach, Kallon is set to lead the national team in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
