Kano Pillars Focused On El-Kanemi Warriors After Remo Setback

Kano Pillars FC Head Coach Ahmed Garba Yaro-Yaro has revealed that both he and his players have moved on from their narrow loss to Remo Stars and are now fully focused on their rescheduled Matchday 20 home fixture against El-Kanemi Warriors on Wednesday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In an interview with the club’s Media & Communications Directorate ahead of the match, Yaro-Yaro, a former player known by his nickname, expressed optimism about his team's preparations and the prospects of securing a positive result against their midweek opponents.

 “The loss to Remo was tough because we played better and felt we deserved something from the game, but unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side.

“We’ve put that behind us and are now looking forward to Wednesday's match against El-Kanemi Warriors. I’m confident we’ll get a positive result, God willing,” said Yaro-Yaro.

A win on Wednesday would see Sai Masu Gida move into the top 10 of the NPFL standings ahead of their weekend home clash with Abia Warriors.

The team lost the first-leg match 1-0 in Maiduguri and will be determined to claim revenge in front of their home fans.
