NLO Increases Participation Fee For 2024/2025 Season

The Nationwide League One, NLO, has increased its participation fee for the 2024/2025 football season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This was contained in the communique as part of the resolutions of the Annual General Meeting of the league, which was held virtually.

 "The Congress approved an increment of centre participation fee due to the economic situation in the world from ₦200,000 to ₦300,000. (The participation fees cover all the logistics for the matches to be played by the clubs.

"This includes match indemnities, security, medicals, pitch preparation, and ball boys. Etc) registration fee of ₦300 000, which encompasses the Pre-Competition Medical Assessment, Players' Registration, Insurance of Players, and Secretariat Management, shall be maintained despite the inflation.

Other high points of the resolutions reached at the AGM include the adoption of the stadium league format and the commencement of the league approved for Friday, April 11, 2025.
