NPFL 25: Imama Anticipates Tough Sunshine Clash With Abia Warriors

Imama Amapakabo of Abia Warriors is anticipating a tough clash with Sunshine Stars in match day 23 of the 2024/2025 NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Despite his optimism of a possible victory for the hosts, the Abia Warriors gaffer thinks that the game will be a tough one.

 "...most importantly we have to believe that we have some couple of wins, and I think everybody is rearing to go. Everybody has the belief that we may be able to get victory come Sunday. We know it's going to be a difficult game no doubt.

"Whenever it is that we are playing against these teams struggling at the moment, you know it's going to be tough. They're going to come and give it their all, so we know that we have to give it our all for us to get victory." Imama said.

The former Nigeria national Under-23 Head Coach said that his team will not underrate the opponents; rather, his boys will give their all during the game.

The visitors are 17th on the league log with 24 points, while Abia Warriors are 5th with 33 points.
