Tella's stunning solo effort helped Bayer Leverkusen secure a crucial victory over Borussia Dortmund.

The Nigeria international powered a strike from the edge of the box after receiving a pass from Robert Andrich, marking his first league goal of the season for Die Werkself.

The winger has made 17 league appearances for Xabi Alonso’s side this season and beat out Patrick Schick, Florian Wirtz, and Alejandro Grimaldo to claim the prestigious award.
