Nigerian Footballer Writes Ikorodu City, Seeks Opportunity For Trials

A Nigerian footballer has requested an opportunity to explore his potential with Ikorodu City FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The footballer named Derima Adevie, who took to his X handle, made the plea after Ikorodu City Director, Adepoju Samuel offered a graduate of the University of Lagos the opportunity for trials with the Lagos-based side.

"Good day sir. Please permit me to use this avenue to get your attention and seek a tryout as well with Ikorodu City FC. My name is Adevie Derima Major. I'm a Nigerian, and I have played in Kenyan Leagues, both Professional and Division 2.

"I'm presently a free player. Here is one of the goals I scored. I don't have many video clips in Kenya as their football media is poor with coverage. However, sir, I'm looking for opportunities back home (NPFL) Ikorodu City FC is one great club I admire to play for coming back home.

"I'm both a left and right winger, and I also play as an attacking midfielder. Please, OgaNlaMedia (Adepoju Samuel) help my football career.

 "A trial is enough for me to prove and grow because we learn everyday. Playing in NPFL will be my dream come true, and it's time for Ikorodu City FC to be the club."
