Gbenga Ogunbote believes his Shooting Stars deserved praise following Friday's painful 0-1 loss to Katsina United on Matchday 28 of the Nigeria Professional Football League, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The Oluyole Warriors fought bravely until the final minutes of added time before succumbing to the host at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.

In his post-match interview, the 3SC coach described the defeat as unfortunate, attributing it to fatigue that prevented his players from performing at their best.

"It is unfortunate that we lost in the dying moments of added time when we conceded the goal. I think the boys have done very well. They gave their all, especially considering the challenges we faced on our journey here. We arrived Thursday evening, understandably, the boys couldn’t fully express themselves due to fatigue."

Often referred to as "The Oracle," indicated that the team has already moved past the defeat and is focused on its next match, which will be another away fixture against Akwa United.

"This game has come and gone; we are now concentrating on the next game, that’s it," added Coach Ogunbote.
