Shooting Stars Announce New Signings, Departures

Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan has confirmed the acquisition of eight new players as part of their preparations for the second half of the 2024/25 NPFL season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a statement released by the club's Media Officer, Tosin Omojola, it was revealed that the signings are from both NPFL and NNL teams.

Among the new additions are Sadiq Ibrahim, a striker from Sunshine Stars, Omoduemuke Moses, a forward from Niger Tornadoes, and midfielder Okorie Ekeson, who joins from Rangers International.

Other signings include midfielders Ukeme Williams from Miyansar Sports FC in Iraq and Ephraim Nwachukwu from Osun United.

The club also introduced a promising young player, Liuz David, to the senior team.

At the same time, the club confirmed the departure of eight players: Abubakar Aliu, Abbey Benson, Elum Henry, Hassane Sidibe, Bolaji Sakin, Uche Onwuasonanya, Fasanmi Olaniyi, and Malachi Ohawume.

Looking ahead, the club hopes to feature some of these new signings in their upcoming Matchday 21 clash against Nasarawa United on Wednesday, set to take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
