Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder, Nathan Tella, continues to shine for Bayer Leverkusen, with his goal being nominated for the prestigious Goal of the Month award, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The German Bundesliga champions have revealed their list of nominated goals, with Tella’s strike against Borussia Dortmund making the cut.

The midfielder, who also plays as a winger, scored the opening goal just one minute into the match after being set up by Robert Andrich.

At 24 years old, Tella will be aiming to secure the award for the first time since joining the club. He faces competition from Alejandro Grimaldo, Florian Wirtz, and Patrik Schick.
