West Brom Manager Provides Update On Semi Ajayi's Injury Recovery

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Mowbray has provided an update on the recovery of Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajayi has been sidelined for the past few weeks due to a hamstring injury but has begun his rehabilitation process.

The defender participated in a U21 match on Monday to assess his fitness level.

"I've had a conversation with the director of medical about Semi. I need to see him work in a small space with drills," Mowbray said.

 "I've also spoken with Semi, and I plan to watch him play to evaluate his progress and see how he reacts," he added.

Ajayi is expected to return to the first team in the coming weeks.
