World Cup Qualifier: Dele Bashiru Fires Warning To Rwanda With A Strike

Super Eagles midfielder, Dele Bashiru has fired warning to Rwanda ahead of next month World Cup qualifier clash at Amahoro stadium, bsnsports.com.ng reports. 

The midfielder, today showed his worth with 88 minutes strike to put ice on the cake during Lazio 5-1 victory at home to Monza. The midfielder who recently recovered from injury, tasted 25 minutes of action in his bid to increase his Lazio goal tally. 

With the strike, the Nigerian Super Eagles via Twitter was quick to celebrate the midfielder’s form ahead of next month crucial World Cup qualifier tie against Rwanda and Zimbabwe. 

“ Fisayodele6_shines for Lazio with a goal in their victory over Monza,” the team twitted. 

The strike took Dele-Bashiru’s Serie A tally to three goals in 16 appearances this season. Despite early struggles adapting to life in Italy following his summer move from Hatayspor, the 24-year-old is beginning to find his rhythm.  

While he has faced challenges in the league, his performances in the UEFA Europa League have been impressive, contributing two goals and two assists in six appearances to help Lazio secure a spot in the Round of 16.
