World Cup Qualifier: Chelle Invites Eagles Legends To Inspire Osimhen, Lookman, Others

As the Super Eagles prepare for their crucial World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe, coach Eric Sekou Chelle has called on former players to help motivate the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Eagles need victories in both matches to revive their chances of qualifying for the World Cup.

In an interview with MainlandMetro, Chelle confirmed that he had invited Nigerian football legends to join the team and that they had accepted the invitation.

"I’ve asked the Nigerian legends to join us for this important journey, and I’m pleased that they’ve agreed to be part of it,"

Chelle said. "I want to assure Nigerians that we are fully committed to preparing well for these matches, and we will do everything necessary to get back on track," he added.

Currently, the Super Eagles sit fifth in the standings with 4 points from 4 matches.
