NFF Crisis: FIFA May Ban Nigeria Due to Adjournment of the Case....Keyamo

NFF
By Admin The NFF leadership tussle at the court has been adjourned till September 25, after a new counsel Samuel Shangkyula emerged as the client to the defendants , Aminu Maigari and Musa Ahmadu. Festus Keyamo, lawyer to Pinnick and the defendants before now, had on July 2 gone to court to vacate the enforcement order given to Chris Giwa to resume duties as the NFF President. The case was adjourned till July 10 but on resumed hearing of the case, Shangkyula said he was the new lawyer for the defendants forcing Keyamo to step down. Keyamo had also been relieved of his services as the NFF lawyer compelling him to now stand for FA chairmen and Pinnick, who is not a party in the suit . The new lawyer to the defendants argued that he would need time to study the case and consult with his clients and needed a date, which Justice Musa Kyula granted as September 25. Keyamo protested the new date saying it was far as FIFA was waiting for the outcome of the case to decide the case of Nigeria, but Justice Kyula maintained that it was all about the laws of the land and not about FIFA. The leadership tussle between Amaju Pinnick and Chris Giwa went as far as the Supreme Court, where the apex court ruled Giwa was NFF president pending the determination of the main suit.
