Proprietor of Bimo Sporting Club, Mr Chinedu Okoye has stated unequivocally that the September 20 Nigeria Football Federation elections held in Katsina cannot be regarded as election describing it as a scam where vote buying were the order of the day.
Okoye, who contested for the post of the NFF president but got no vote, said that the Nigerian police and the Economic Financial and Crime Commission, EFCC, should investigate the matter and anyone found culpable should face the wrath of the law.
"There was no election in Katsina and with the available evidences, if government can investigate what happened in Katsina some people will be in jail. Money exchanged hands in the election and it was very clear."
He blamed those who allegedly sold their souls out to vote for wrong candidates for helping in burying Nigerian football which was dead before now.
"With time, the truth will be in the public domain. Those that sold their rights and voted for wrong people should know that they are part of people trying to bury Nigeria football that was no longer alive long ago." Okoye concluded.
